Rent-a-Rack vs Online Selling Calculator
Compare two selling routes over the same period. All starting figures are hypothetical and editable; they are not operator quotes or marketplace fee rates.
Enter completed sales or your own scenarios, not the number of pieces you bring to the rack. Other selling costs include travel, packaging and seller-funded postage after buyer contributions. Include each cost once. Figures stay in this page and are not saved after you close it.

What the results include
Cash after selling costs = item sales minus percentage commission, fixed charges, fees and other selling costs. The next row deducts acquisition cost allocated to sold items. The final row also subtracts hours multiplied by your chosen time value.
These are scenario figures before tax and any costs you have not entered. A time allowance is not a cash payment or a tax deduction calculation. Unsold stock is not treated as worthless: its acquisition cost remains outside these sold-item figures. Compare cash tied up in unsold stock separately.
