The short version
Listalong only aims to collect and use the information needed to run the website, authenticate users, connect marketplace accounts, cross-list and synchronise listings, provide support and understand how the service is used.
We do not sell personal information or listing data to advertisers or data brokers. The sections below provide the full detail, including the services that help operate Listalong and how to make a privacy request.
Account, technical, marketplace and order information.
Creator referrals
If you follow a creator referral link, we may remember its code in this website’s browser storage for up to 60 days and pass it to signup. The app uses a signed referral cookie, also lasting up to 60 days, to attribute a new account. Clearing browser storage or cookies can prevent attribution. Once you sign up, the referral is stored with your account so we can track subscriptions and calculate recurring creator commission. These records are available to Listalong’s authorised administrators; this feature does not give creators access to your email or store information.
Affiliate accounts and payouts
If you apply to become an affiliate, we collect your email, creator or business name, channel link, programme-rule acceptance and application history. We use these to verify your account, review your application and manage commissions. Affiliate dashboards show aggregate referral results rather than customers’ identities. Payout account details are sent to Wise when that service is enabled; Listalong retains a recipient reference, an account label and the last four account digits, together with payout and review records. Do not enter real bank details into a sandbox or demonstration form.
Google account sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides Listalong and our authentication provider, Supabase, with your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your Listalong account and to pre-fill your name during account setup.
Listalong requests only the basic email,
profile and openid scopes required for
Google sign-in. We do not request or receive access to Gmail,
Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service, and
Listalong cannot post anything to your Google account.
This information is processed by Supabase and our infrastructure providers only as needed to operate Listalong. It is never sold or rented and is not used for advertising. You can disconnect Listalong through Google Account permissions. Disconnecting prevents future Google sign-in but does not automatically delete your Listalong account or information. To request deletion, contact us using the address in this policy.
Account, contact and previous access-request information
If you create an account, contact us or previously requested product access, we may collect your email address, your name if you provide it, and information you choose to include in messages sent to us.
Website and technical information
When you visit the website or use the app, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, approximate location derived from network information, logs and timestamps.
Marketplace account connections
When you connect marketplace accounts, we may store connection tokens or authentication details required to maintain the connection, marketplace account identifiers, configuration settings and automation rules.
Authentication information is protected using appropriate technical controls, including encryption where supported by the hosting and database services we use.
Browser extension
The optional Listalong Connector browser extension keeps your Depop account connected so your listings stay in sync. You log in to Depop yourself. The extension never sees or stores your Depop password.
The extension reads only your Depop sign-in session—the authentication token your browser already sends to Depop—and sends it with your Listalong connection key to Listalong to maintain the connection. It does not read your Depop messages, payments or browsing history, and it never posts or makes changes on your behalf.
You can disconnect at any time from your Listalong dashboard or by removing the extension.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Listalong Connector's use of information received through the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
We use the data the extension accesses—your Depop sign-in session—solely to provide its single purpose: keeping your Depop account connected to Listalong so your listings stay in sync. We do not transfer this data to others except as needed to provide that purpose, to comply with law or to protect against abuse. We never use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent or for security.
Listing and order information
To provide the service, we may store listing titles and descriptions, photos, prices, inventory information, order information and tracking information.
Payment information
If you start a paid plan, payment details are handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on Listalong systems. We may store billing status, plan, renewal, cancellation and invoice information needed to manage your subscription.
To operate, support and protect the service.
We use information to operate the website and app, synchronise listings between marketplaces, help prevent duplicate sales, deliver tracking information, send account and service notifications, improve the product, protect the service from misuse and provide customer support.
We do not sell your personal information or listing data to advertisers or data brokers.

Marketing emails
If you create an account or previously requested product updates, we may send product updates, service updates and service announcements. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We may still send transactional or service-critical messages, such as account, security, billing or connection-expiry notices.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage, traffic sources and how visitors interact with pages and links. This may include page visits, approximate location, device and browser information, and interaction events. If you allow analytics, we also measure account creation, connecting both stores, trial activation and successful subscription payments. Payment events include the amount, currency and an invoice identifier, never your card details. We associate these events with a browser analytics identifier, not your name, email address or marketplace credentials. We link Google Analytics to Google Ads to measure campaign results, without enabling personalised advertising.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use cross-site advertising trackers. Google Analytics runs only when you choose “Allow analytics”. Your choice applies across our website and app and is remembered for up to 180 days. You can change it using “Analytics settings” on either site. Declining analytics does not affect your account, trial or subscription. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain disabled.
Google may process Analytics information outside Australia. You can read Google's Privacy Policy or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Third-party providers
We may use third-party service providers to operate the website and app, including providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, database storage, error monitoring and payment processing.
Disclosure and overseas processing
We may disclose information to service providers who help us operate Listalong, to marketplace platforms you choose to connect, to payment processors, to professional advisers, or where required by law.
Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and protect information consistently with this policy.

Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We may retain limited records after deletion where reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution or backup purposes.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, correction, deletion and complaints.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request. If we cannot complete a request, we will explain why where reasonably possible.
Privacy complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Please include enough detail for us to understand the issue. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Children
Listalong is intended for people running or managing resale businesses. It is not directed to children.
Australian users
We take reasonable steps to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
