This table covers Depop Shipping via Australia Post. It does not quote packaging, international delivery, Australia Post counter prices or a seller’s independently arranged postage.

Which parcel size should you choose?
Start with Depop’s item descriptions in the table above. Small is described for lighter stock, Medium for garments such as hoodies and jeans, and Large for footwear, heavy coats and larger items. Consider the packed item, including the mailer or box and padding.
Does Depop specify weight or dimension limits?
The data we checked did not. In all three live catalogue responses, every parcel tier had an empty maximum-weight field and no dimensions. The public Australian shipping guide and the carrier reseller terms linked from Depop’s Australian policy also did not establish a Small, Medium and Large limits table.
The item examples help explain Depop’s choices, but they do not prove a maximum number of grams or centimetres. An Australia Post satchel marked “Small” does not by itself establish that it meets Depop’s Small requirements. For unusually bulky or heavy stock, seek clarification from Depop before relying on a particular tier.
The jump from Small to Medium in the observed table is A$1.50; Medium to Large is A$3.00. Review the fit first, then use the correct price when considering the total your buyer will pay.
What does the buyer pay altogether?
Shipping is one part of the checkout total. At the observed rates, a A$20 item would come to the following amounts before any buyer Marketplace fee or other applicable charges:
| A$20 item with… | Item plus shipping |
|---|---|
| Small shipping | A$28.49 |
| Medium shipping | A$29.99 |
| Large shipping | A$32.99 |
Depop separately applies an Australian buyer Marketplace fee. The amount displayed at checkout is the one to use. Our Australian Depop fees guide explains the difference between buyer charges and seller payment-processing fees.
For inexpensive stock, consider the delivered total alongside your asking price. A low item price can still leave a buyer comparing a substantially higher checkout amount.
Are these Australia Post’s normal postage prices?
These figures describe the Depop-provided shipping options, rather than a quote obtained independently from Australia Post.
For an order using Depop Shipping, use the label supplied for that sale. Depop’s Australian shipping guide says tracking is integrated and explains how to access the label or QR code. Buying another label separately can mean paying for postage twice.
Older listings may still use manual postage, depending on when the account joined the rollout. The rollout explainer covers that distinction. Our shipping walkthrough covers fulfilment after a sale.
Where should you check the current price?
When preparing a listing, review the available Depop Shipping options and the charge shown for your selected parcel. Before purchasing, review shipping and the complete checkout total. For a sold order, follow that order’s shipping method and label instructions.
If the amount differs from the table above, use Depop’s current quote. Keep the account, parcel option and date in mind when comparing a price someone else has reported.

Sources and how we checked
- Prices and item examples: Depop’s Australian shipping catalogue, inspected through a verified connected Australian seller account on 4 November 2026. Three read-only requests using item prices of A$10, A$25 and A$100 returned Small at A$8.49, Medium at A$9.99 and Large at A$12.99, with the descriptions shown above. All maximum-weight fields were empty and no dimensions were supplied. We did not create listings, buy labels or send test parcels. This establishes the returned options, not physical acceptance limits or universal availability.
